Memories, Hopes, Dreams, the Past and the Future

It's amazing how often these things go hand in hand isn't it? Just a couple of months ago we were dreaming of graduation, making plans for the future. We were sadly and fondly looking back on the friends we were going to miss and the big part of our lives we were about to leave behind. Memories of the cafeteria, the courtyard, playing feild, weight room, gym, drill area, and even memories from the canteen and recess overflowed us and brought tears to our eyes and smiles to our faces.

Now that graduation has come and gone we actually find ourselves doing something we thought impossible... we actually want to go back! But at the same time all this hits us we are excited. Were finally adults, we can finally make our own descisions.

It;s an awesome feeling but its also a HUGE responsiblity. We now have the power to make our lives or break them. It's what our parents, teachers and principals have been grooming us for. WOW, who would have guessed they actually knew what they were talking about when they said we would thank them one day?!

As we move into adulthood whether it's in college, the workforce, or the military we continue to look back and we start to look around at the people that have stayed by us. Family, inspirations, and friends that are so close we consider them family. These are the people that got us this far, we couldn't have done it without them.

To top all that off we are looking ahead. We now have the chance to make all our dreams come true and we WILL do it. We will make our supporters proud, make ourselves happy and make our doubters and naysayers sit-down and shut-up. We are finally where we always wanted to be and it's both a great privilege and a huge responsiblity, but we will make it and even show everyone else a thing or two.
